Welcome to IOBAbooks.com — the virtual book store where members of the Independent Online Booksellers Association list their stock. Here you will find new, used, out-of-print, and rare books for sale, in addition to ephemera, vintage magazines, and used textbooks.
IOBA was formed as a trade association in part to make sure that traditional bookselling values were not abandoned in the brave new world of online selling, where buyers are purchasing books sight unseen and seller inexperience and fraud are not uncommon. Online booksellers who are accepted into IOBA are dedicated to maintaining high ethical and professional standards, and to promoting trust between customers and booksellers by providing a safe online environment for the sale and purchase of books.
IOBAbooks was developed by IOBA as a safe harbor alternative to some of the larger and more well-known bookselling and online auction services that have abandoned the traditional values which have served our noble profession so long and so well.
