Girard: Haldeman-Julius. Good with no dust jacket. 1923. Ephemera. Faded wraps with age-darkening to exterior. Stapled binding is sound. Small water spot (approx. 1 cm in size) on front of wraps. 64pp plus wraps. Interior pages age-darkened but clean. Line drawing illustrations of primates, artifacts, skulls, artists' representation of early hominid appearance. Little Blue Books were a popular series of abridged literature and instructional material published by Emanual Haldeman in the 1910s, 1920s, and 1930s (with some in the 1940s, but the heyday had passed). The intent was to provide knowledge to the "common man" in a compact format for the purpose of self-education.; 5" (12.7 cm) tall. .
