Second edition (first published in 1632.) Very scarce classic about a topic with few contemporary references. Photographic facsimile of 2 double-page plates (indlucing one of the plates present at the rear) inserted at p. 20/21. Modern full brown morrocco binding; red title label on spine with gilt lettering. This edition includes the new Appendix of additional notes by Cruso and a poem dedicated to Cruso by Colonel Edmund Harvy, the commander of a Parlimentarian cavalry regiment. Burden for Captain Rober Seton (probably of the 3rd Regiment of Guards and Governor of Blackness Castle) is laid in. Overall, very presentable.. Leather. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by C. van Dalen.
