Color frontispiece is of a Harlan's Hawk, and is from a watercolor sketch done by the author from life. Additionally illustrated by pen and ink drawings by the author. The ecology and distribution of Oklahoma birds, with comments on the avifauna of the Southern Great Plains. Near fine book (a bit of lower binding edgewear, light dustiness to page edges) in a near fine dustjacket (some soiling from rubbing/age--no spots or such) . Massive book of 674 pages including Index. The book is straight, clean, and has no writing in it. The dustjacket is price intact, and has no tears or chips. ; Color Illustrations .
