Exceptional copy of this important work on the work of Andrew Wyeth (1917- 2009), number 175 of a limited edition of 300 copies, after which the plates were destroyed. The book has never been read and also includes the publisher's original shipping box. Large and very heavy book, about 13.25 inches tall and 17.25 inches wide, about two inches thick. Tan textured cloth with light blue suede spine lettered in gilt, all edges gilt, attached ribbon bookmark, matching blue cloth clamshell box measuring about 15 inches tall and 19 inches wide. Color illustrated throughout, the book contains high quality reproductions of some of Wyeth's best works, compiled and supervised by the artist. Both book and clamshell box are in as new condition.
