Previously unpublished portraits found in old album in Boston Bookshop by friend of author is now published for first time. Included is a portrait bound in of Charles Dickens. 1838/1839. Dickens portrait 1842. Corners bit frayed, and edges little scuffed. Contents clean and nice. Inscribed on front endpaper by author, and also signed by W. Cameron Forbes, and Antonio Alfredo Giarraputo in 1956? Introduction and notes on each subject by author. Title of original album was "Litterateurs Francais." .
