This is the catalog of an exhibit of the collages of Burgoyne Diller held at the Michael Rosenfeld Gallery from Nov. 4, 1999 to Jan. 8, 2000. Text is by Susan C. Larsen. Includes a list of solo and group exhibitions of the works of Burgoyne Diller, and an exhibition checklist. Burgoyne Diller (1906-1965) was the supervisor of the mural division of the WPA Federal Art Project in New York City from 1935 to 1940; he later taught art at Brooklyn College and the Pratt Institute. He has been called the first American to work in a geometric abstract style.
