Full titles: Vol. I: The Story of the Truth Seeker in the Form of An Autobiography with a Record of the Freethought Movement in America Since 1875; Vol. II: Fifty Years of Freethought being the Story of the Truth Seeker, with the Natural History of Its Third Editor (Vol. II has Foreword by Clarence Darrow). Vol. I has 544 pages, and Vol. II has 657 pages including Index. The books are in very good plus to near fine condition -- straight, clean, have no writing in them and are tightly bound in dark blue cloth with paper spine and front panel labels, with just a small area on the lower spine end where the blue has very slightly faded (from chips in dustjackets) and just a touch of edgewear at lower spine ends. The dustjackets are made from uncoated, fragile tan colored paper--they're clean, bright and the printing isn't faded. However, both have chips at the spine ends and smaller chips at flap fold ends (and the spines are slightly darkened) and Vol. I has a few small chips at the lower back panel edge. Very rare to find these uncoated paper dustjackets in any condition (protected now in removable mylar covers). ; Vol. 2; 8-1/4" x 5-1/2" .
