A very nice copy of this classic which was made into a movie (after seeing it, you may never trust kids again!). About a child born without a conscience, who gets rid of anyone and anything to get whatever she wants. Chilling! ! ! The book is clean, straight & tight. There is some light wear to edges, corners; spine ends are lightly bumped and rubbed but there is no color loss of black spine cloth. There are tape shadows on the front endpage. There is no book club blind stamp, and the dust jacket is priced, but there is no Rhinehart colophon and no additional printings mentioned on the copyright page. The price intact dust jacket is bright and clean; spine is faded and there are some edge tears are internally mended, edgewear and chipping. ; 8 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches; 247 pages .
