SIGNED and inscribed by the author "To Robert Underwood Johnson with regards and friendship, Jan. 1911" and Mr. Johnson's bookplate is on the front pastedown, across from the author's inscription. Bound in light blue paper-covered boards with a cream-colored vellum spine with 5 bands and gilt printing. Rough-cut page edges. There is one tiny nick to paper covering boards on the bottom front binding edge, a small lighter spot to the vellum mid-spine (which has not affected the gilt), and the boards are partially sun-darkened, mostly around the edges.
