Beautiful tooled gilt design and lettering on the spine - with one raised band. 12 full color plates, including frontispiece, with tissue guard. Marbled endpapers, offset edges. Top edge of text block gilt. Just a bit of shelf rub to spine edges, spine ends and corner tips. Outside page edges lightly age tanning. It appears the fore edge laid against a pen tip as it has several tiny ink dots. Solid binding and hinges.
