The orange on the spine label has faded from light. There is very minimal wear to the cloth. Pages clean and unmarked, but have a little age tanning. No DJ. ; This is a collection of 40 essays on contemporary (to 1931) essays by authors such as: John Dewey, John Ruskin, Lewis Mumford, Sir J. Arthur Thomson, Robert A. Millikan, Julian Huxley, Bertrand Russell, and others. .
