The volume does not bear a date of publication; 1927 is the date usually assigned to this edition. Each color illustration is tipped onto a leaf bearing the caption. In Very Good- Condition: cover is rubbed, most noticeably along fore-edge; head of spine starting to fray; a few lower edges were opened carelessly; slight offsetting from frontispiece onto title page; otherwise pages are clean and bright; all plates are present..
