The first American edition of this Verne title was a two-volume publication by Charles Scribner's Sons also in 1881. This very attractive one-volume edition followed, containing the complete text and illustrations of the two parts. In Very Good+ Condition: ends of spine just starting to fray; small stain on spine; small ding in top edge of front cover; corners lightly rubbed; ½-cm. (¼-inch) tear in fore-edge of first map; pages and illustrations are clean and tight; cover is bright.. Very Good+.
