Contains directions and patterns for weaving and dying wool and cotton; also contains a section of recipes, including that for gilt for the edges of books and paper. In Very Good- Condition: rubbed; one corner of leather spine label lacking; light soiling throughout; old ink stains on pp. 147-50, but text is legible; several tears, all without loss of text or pattern: 4½-cm. (2-inch) tear from fore-edge of pp. 86-87; small section lacking from lower edge of pp. 88-89; 2-cm. (1-inch) tear from fore-edge of pp. 88-89; 4-cm.
