No date of publication. The publisher's address is given as 188 N. 3rd St. Although the publisher existed from 1841 to 1849, they are known to have used this address in 1842; by 1846 they were using 144 N. 3rd St. 4, 6, 5-570, 111 p.: frontispiece; 29 cm. (11¼ inches). Full calf. The frontispiece is a wood engraving by Alexander Anderson of Moses found in the bulrushes. A very scarce, albeit incomplete, Bible from the first half of the 19th century by a lesser known Philadelphia publisher. In Poor Condition: both boards are detached and leather over spine is lacking; everything after the Apocrypha, that is the entire New Testament, is lacking (remaining text block is solid); foxing throughout.. Poor.
