SIGNED by the author on a loosely laid in postcard sized piece of paper (we've placed the signature in a plastic autograph card holder, for safety). The signature dates to the mid-1990s, with the more stylized signature the author has used since. Straight, clean and tight book with no handwriting in it. There is one small indentation in the upper front board edge, a trace of shelfwear to spine ends, and a few very tiny, very faint smudges to the binding board edges. The price intact 1st issue dustjacket (one address only for publisher on the rear flap) is clean, crisp and unfaded with a couple of very tiny edge nicks and a small depression (no loss of color or tearing) corresponding to the ding to the upper front board edge.
