Portfolio has red cloth spine and corners, with red ribbon ties; printed in red and black. The text and leaves of plates are loose in the portfolio, as issued. The last (unpaginated) page of text contains a list of the plates and provides the year of printing, 1925. Text is entirely in French. The plates are numbered and were produced by the heliotype, or collotype, process, which produces both beautiful and extremely detailed images. Some plates state that they were produced by Léon Marotte, Paris. In Very Good- Condition: cloth is rubbed through along edges of spine and at upper corner of front section of portfolio; edges of portfolio are darkened; slight darkening along some edges of the plates; otherwise text and plates are clean and bright.
