The twelve dances and their accompanying music have detailed descriptions and are mainly group dances to be performed outdoors, for May Day celebrations as an example. Definitely paints a picture of how artistic dance was viewed in the mid-1930s. Liberally illustrated with b&w photos of sculpture and dancers engaged in each of the twelve dances.
